Azadeh Afsahi is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with published work in the collaborative book “What They Didn’t Teach at the Academy: Topic, Stories, And reality Beyond the Classroom”. She was featured in Modern Healthcare in 2017 for her work with survivors of the Las Vegas mass shooting. It is her passion for human psychology, that led her to obtain not only her M.A. in Counseling Psychology but also a Masters in Industrial Psychology. Her dual psychology background has provided her with rich experience in both individual and organizational psychology.
Azadeh’s professional journey started as a volunteer for a suicide prevention hotline at Didi Hirsch. This soon led to a permanent position, which she maintained as she pursued her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. Upon completion of her program, she began work at a Psychiatric Inpatient Unit for a community hospital.
While furthering her education in the field of Industrial Psychology, Azadeh reaped the benefits of two incredible internships; one at CBRE (a Fortune 500 Co.) in Change Management, and the other at Bebe Inc. as an Executive Coach. She enjoyed her time practicing and learning about Industrial Psychology; however, her passion remains in the field of mental health.
Azadeh currently has a private practice in Beverly Hills where her work focuses on adults and couples. She truly believes that change comes from within and always tries to help individuals from the inside out.
